We started December off right! Last night we had an "oldest son and mom" night out. Joey and his two best friends and us mom's went to Bobby McGees for dinner. Did you even know that place still excisted? Our hostess was Tink and Peter Frying Pan was our server. He rocked. They sang and the boys even got to ride a pink pony! When I came out of the bathroom the boys had wondered into the bar and were dancing on the dance floor. I laughed so hard I was crying. I wanted to scream,"Go white boy! Go white boy!" to Joey. Bonnie took pictures and I will post them as soon as I get them because they are too funny!! After that we went to see the www.thealleycats.com What a wonderful way to get in the Christmas spirit. Their voices are beautiful and I was so happy to hear them say Christmas and not holiday and sing Christmas songs including Away in the Manger and Silent Night. It was a certainly a night to remember!
This morning I baked Chocolate Toffee Cherry Oatmeal cookies. YUM!!! If you want the recipe just leave a comment and let me know. They are my very favorite cookie!
Joey is resting (that's a big issue) right now because we didn't get home until almost midnight last night and he makes his first reconciliation this afternoon. We are suposed to go to a Christmas Parade afterwards, but we'll see if he can make it.
Have a good day!
